If a high number of streams is the measure of success these days, then Dragonfruit is doing just fine. The young group from Rotterdam has already been listened to over a million times on Spotify. The band attracted attention with songs such as the catchy Apples and the seductive Wasted, which they played to loud applause during the finals of the Grote Prijs van Rotterdam. Dragonfruit also received attention from 3FM, Sublime and leading international music blogs, such as EARMILK, Wonderland and Stereofox. The latter praised the silky-smooth vocals of captivating singer Danique and the catchy beats that reflect the hip hop influences of the band. Together with the dreamy synths, they form an irresistible combination. Once heard, songs like the club hit Know Better or the compelling Lonely are hard to get out of your head.
