At a young age, the now 24-year-old American left her birthplaceBerks Country in Pennsylvania, along with a guitar and a fullypacked backpack, to move to sprawling Los Angeles. This was the bigcity where Priscilla Ahn hoped to fulfill her dream and make it asan artist. After performances in local bars and several smallconcerts, she was finally allowed to tour with singer-songwriterJoshua Radin, after which she was given a record contract with BlueNote. Last year, her debut album appeared: A Good Day, a lovelyfolk pop album, filled with sweet songs and warm lyrics. Ahn, whocarries the name of her South-Korean mother, in the mean time hasperformed as a support act with Willy Nelson, Jason Mraz and AmosLee. She has already played all over the world, but Ahn is visitingour country for only the second time, this time for the North SeaJazz Festival.
