One month before the publication of the full program and timetables we can announce more names for this year’s festival. Added to the line up are James Blake, St Germain and Pharoah Sanders Trio featuring William Henderson and Trilok Gurtu.

This year’s Artist In Residence is Ibrahim Maalouf. On Friday,  the French-Lebanese trumpeter will perform the ‘Kalthoum’ project, on Saturday his ‘Red & Black Light’ album and on Sunday with the Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley.

The Metropole Orkest conducted by Jules Buckley will also perform on Friday with Snarky Puppy. The instrumental fusion-jazz ensemble will play an extra show and perform their Gramma Award winning album ‘Sylva’ together.

Further confirmed on Friday are Pokey LaFarge, James Hunter, Allen Stone, Tineke Postma & Jasper van 't Hof, Melanie De Biasio, Giovanni Guidi Trio, James Brandon Lewis Trio, Gard Nilssen's Acoustic Unity, Rag 'n' Bone Man, Songhoy Blues, Oddisee & GOOD COMPNY and Jonathan Scales Fourchestra.

New names for Saturday July 9th are Hiatus Kaiyote, Arturo O'Farrill & The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Edmar Castaneda World Ensemble Quintet, Jazz Orchestra Of The Concertgebouw with Dr Lonnie Smith, Bixiga 70, Pieranunzi Somsen Ceccarelli, Fay Claassen & Peter Beets Trio, Charles McPherson Quartet, Avery*Sunshine, Mark Schilders' Fabrik and Aruán Ortiz Trio.

On Sunday  Esperanza Spalding Emily's D + Evolution, GoGo Penguin and TaxiWars make their appearance. Also playing this day are William Bell, The Gospel According To Grégoire Maret Featuring Zara McFarlane, Reijseger Fraanje Sylla,  Blick Bassy and Michael Mantler - The Jazz Composer's Orchestra Update featuring the Nouvelle Cuisine Big Band conducted by Christoph Cech.
