Jazz 2013
announced

This morning on Radio 6 more names have been announced for the North Sea Jazz Festival 2013.

Among others hiphop sensation Kendrick Lamar, proclaimed the new king of the West Coast by Snoop Dogg comes to Rotterdam with his live band. Also Diana Krall and Gary Clark Jr. make their appearance at the festival, which takes place on 12, 13 and 14 July this year.

The festival also announces many jazz greats, young and old: Marcus Miller, McCoy Tyner Latin Jazz All Stars, Chick Corea and the Vigil, Avishai Cohen Quartet, Sangam feat. Charles Lloyd, Zakir Hussain & Eric Harland and Monty Alexander Trio.

Further confirmed are James Hunter, José James and Lianne La Havas. Joe Jackson and the Bigger Band featuring Regina Carter will bring the project The Duke. Besides them also Mud Morganfield, son of Muddy Waters makes his debut.

Laura Mvula, Shuggie Otis, Calexico and the Ghanaian guitarist Ebo Taylor will also perform at the three-day festival.

And from the Netherlands Caro Emerald, New Cool Collective and Re: freshed Orchestra.
