Chilean singer-songwriter Camila Meza captivates audiences around the world with her crystal-clear voice and expressive guitar playing – influenced by Pat Metheny and George Benson. At the age of 23, she moved from her hometown of Santiago to New York, where she graduated from the School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2013. With refined flexibility, Meza crafts compelling compositions sung in Spanish and English, full of complex layers at the crossroads of jazz, folk, world, and pop that become deeper each time they are heard. Meza has collaborated with big names such as Paquito D’Rivera, Aaron Goldberg, and Shai Maestro. In 2019, she released her fifth album, Ámbar, which was met with critical acclaim from both the press and the public. Last year, the long-awaited follow-up, Portal, was released, featuring songs that pay homage to women. It is her most personal album to date, with guest appearances by Gretchen Parlato and Becca Stevens.
