FENIX
Located in a renovated transshipment warehouse opposite Hotel New York in Katendrecht stands Rotterdam's newest addition: Fenix. In this new art museum about migration artists, photographers, chefs, and other creative makers tell stories that transcend boundaries. About love and farewell, coming home and feeling at home, identity and the search for happiness. With ten carefully designed maps, you navigate through the exhibition Alle Richtingen (‘All Directions’). Along the way, you discover how migration cannot be captured in a single story. Nederlands Fotomuseum
Not far from Fenix, you will find the Nederlands Fotomuseum (Dutch Photo Museum), recently reopened in the old Santos warehouse located in Rotterdam's Rijnhaven. The museum houses one of the largest photography collections in the world, with over 6.5 million objects. From June through November, the exhibition Good Food is on display, where farmers, market gardeners, and scientists showcase the art of sustainability.
Upon presentation of your festival ticket, you will receive a free set of postcards featuring famous photographic works in the museum shop. This offer is valid for the entire month of July.
Wereldmuseum Rotterdam
On the Willemskade you will find Wereldmuseum Rotterdam (World Museum Rotterdam) , the dome museum that also has branches in Amsterdam and Leiden and is rich in objects from all over the world. The museum showcases traditional maker cultures and connects them with contemporary art: how the latter builds upon tradition, but also how art regains value and reinterprets the collections. All of this can be seen in the exhibition Kruispunt (‘Crossroads’) .

BoogieBall
Music venue, club, and restaurant BIRD is once again hosting the official NN North Sea Jazz afterparty, Boogieball, after each festival day. What started as a spontaneous idea has grown into a firm tradition where artists such as Usher, Anderson .Paak, and Questlove performed in the past. This year, not only is North Sea Jazz celebrating its anniversary, but BIRD is also celebrating its 15th anniversary.
