The place where lovers of jazz and art meet between performances is the ArtBar. Here, you can enjoy international art pieces as well as food and drinks, provided by Chimi&Churri.
The ArtBar is dedicated to international & contemporary African art with the exhibition Rhythm & Flow. Work by artists such as Yaw Tony, Ezra Appiah, Kouassi Flodo, and Albada Glover shows how jazz and visual art intersect. Improvisation, rhythm, silence, and tension form the shared language. The exhibition includes paintings, sculptures, installations, digital media, and live, responsive works that react directly to the music – transforming the space into a sensory dialogue.
As every year, the fifteen prize-winning designs from the Art Poster Competition, created by students of the Willem de Kooning Academy, are also on display.
