Boogieball: the afterparty in Bird
Boogieball is back. And this year they are celebrating 15 years of BIRD. Double celebration. On Friday 10 and Saturday 11 July, BIRD opens its doors for what is always a surprise: festival artists can just walk in to give a jam session or get behind the turntables.
Where the festival ends, Boogieball begins: the afterparty where visitors can come face to face with the best soul and jazz artists for two musical nights. In the past, Usher, Macy Gray, Mos Def, Anderson .Paak, Bootsy Collins, Roy Hargrove, Janelle Monaé and Questlove, among others, have appeared there after their performance in Ahoy. They came to participate in jam sessions and/or took charge of the turntables. Either way, it was a party!
On both days, the afterparty starts around 23:00. Both Passé-Partout and single-day tickets are available. Tickets voor Boogieball via Bird Rotterdam.
