Gerard Ekdom needs little introduction: as one of the most famous radio DJs in the Netherlands, his career took him from 3FM via NPO Radio 2, Radio 10 and now Veronica. He expanded his CV with TV presenting, but has always continued to perform and has played at NN North Sea Jazz for many years. For this evening, he promises his Ekdom's Funky Weekend Trip to be a ‘wonderful musical trip along old and brand new soul, funk, nu-disco and acid jazz’. In short: everything that is funky!
