When Ronnie Flex released his Rémi album in 2017, it represented a pivotal moment in the career of one of the most prolific, influential and innovative artists in the Netherlands. On this very personal project, which entered the charts straight at number 1, the Rotterdam singer and rapper takes the listener along Rémi's emotion-filled journey: a direct and tearful nod to the protagonist of the famous French novel Sans Famille (Nobody’s Boy). Now this modern classic is being conveyed in a whole new light during a specially devised show that features new musical arrangements, the addition of live musicians, and an impressive production. During his performance at the festival, Flex will play the acclaimed album in its entirety, and definitely with ‘famille’, because he will be joined on stage by his rock-solid band The Fam, who will lend even more musical embellishment to this haunting tale.
