London-born singer Jonathan Jeremiah has had a close connection with the Netherlands since the start of his music career. His debut album A Solitary Man (2011) went gold in this country, and he got to perform with the renowned Metropole Orkest at North Sea Jazz that same year. The gig at Rotterdam Ahoy went so well that the singer asked the famous ensemble to back him on his second album Gold Dust (2012). Jeremiah – blessed with a beautiful baritone and vocally inspired by legends like Serge Gainsbourg and Scott Walker – has refined his authentic sound over the years and made a captivating mix of timeless acoustic folk, soul, and R&B his artistic trademark. A live show from the silken-voiced Brit, who is currently working on his sixth album, is a nostalgic trip that gives visitors an almost cinematic glimpse into the singer’s musical universe.
