Dutch DJ Ajuma is an ardent music lover with an ear for the surprising and obscure. She creates an inviting atmosphere on the dancefloor, blending together genres into a recognizable sound that is always soulful oriented. Ajuma has performed in clubs and at festivals in the Netherlands as well as abroad. In search of more gender equality behind the scenes, she created Parotia, a club night born out of the desire to dance together – with local and international talent, live music and experimentation.
