Amsterdam-based drummer and composer Jamie Peet is one of the most sought-after musicians on the European jazz scene. He has toured with Gregory Porter and Kris Bowers and performed with Y-OTIS, Jasper Hoiby’s 3 Elements, Tin Men & the Telephone, Sasha Berliner, and Seamus Blake. He was also a standout member of the B.E. Trio led by the renowned pianist Jasper van ’t Hof. Peet is part of a new wave of musicians and bands that seamlessly blend jazz, hip-hop, dance, and electronic music. Known for his powerful, distinctive drumming, he delivers energetic yet nuanced performances. His Jamie Peet Reflex Quartet, featuring Joel Ross, Ben van Gelder, and Pat Cleaver, emerged from a BIMHUIS Amsterdam composition commission. With this powerhouse lineup, Peet presents his first entirely self-composed work, Daily New Beginning, due for release on vinyl in June 2026.
