Jim van de Klundert, performing as LOCALS, is a Dutch jazz guitarist and composer with an authentic lyrical playing style, rooted in the jazz tradition. His passion for the genre started when he heard Django Reinhardt play and lists John Coltrane as a great influence. Van de Klundert won the Seabottom Jazz Talent Prize two years in a row and graduated from several Dutch conservatories. His debut album, Ease, was released in 2023.
