Drummer, producer, DJ and filmmaker Questlove became known worldwide as the driving force behind The Roots, and evolved into one of the most influential musical cultural figures of his generation. He’s won multiple awards, including six Grammys, and even an Oscar for his documentary Summer Of Soul (... Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised). As a musical director, he’s worked with artists such as D'Angelo, Jay-Z and Erykah Badu. In addition, he’s been the driving musical force behind The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for some years. For Questlove & Friends, he brings together a group of musician buddies. Within this setting, improvisation, beats and grooves come together in a loose, adventurous live show, where jazz and hip-hop constantly challenge each other. It promises to be a concert that could just as well be a jam, club night or jazz performance.
