Gallowstreet was founded in 2012 in Amsterdam's Galgenstraat (which means ‘gallow street’ in Dutch) and have since caused a sensation worldwide playing a style the band themselves have coined #futurebrass, which is an explosive mix of horns, electronics and effects, fuelled by hip-hop, house and synthwave. Since its inception, this eight-piece formation has become a firm fixture on international stages, performing at festivals such as Lowlands, Jazz à Vienne and Nancy Jazz Pulsations.
