Grammy winner Gonzalo Rubalcaba is one of the most celebrated and endlessly creative pianists of our time, and saxophonist Chris Potter “one of the most studied (and copied) saxophonists in the world” according to DownBeat magazine. Upright bass player Larry Grenadier is all about intuition, combining melodic finesse and rhythmic precision, and Eric Harland is one of the most sought-after jazz drummers of his generation, who has played with Wayne Shorter, Wynton Marsalis and Michael Brecker. In the summer of 2022, these four top musicians played four breathtaking nights at New York's famous Dizzy's Club together. The audience witnessed an electric chemistry between the group members, who delivered pure fireworks on stage. Those performances were released as the album First Meeting: Live At Dizzy's Club. They all felt their collaboration merited a repeat, so the quartet decided to bring their magical interplay to international stages, and we can now welcome them to Rotterdam.
