The London Collective Big Band (LCBB) is a jazz orchestra based in St Paul’s, London. Originally founded in 2013 as the Warwick Alumni Big Band, LCBB has since evolved into a dynamic community ensemble, bringing together talented young musicians from university big bands across the UK. With a growing reputation for bold and exciting performances, LCBB delivers a mix of classic swing, big band standards, contemporary arrangements, and even reimagined video game themes. Their energetic, genre-blending and community centered approach makes them a unique presence in London’s music scene. In 2024, LCBB made their international debut at the French Jazz à Vienne festival. Their recent collaborations include performances with the London Hornstars and the Islington Community Choir, reflecting their passion for musical innovation and community engagement.
