Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and pianist Jon Cleary was born in London, but on a plane to New Orleans before he was twenty. He’d always been a fan of the city’s music and once there became a session musician for local legends before embarking on a solo career. With his band, Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, he still regularly performs at classic New Orleans venues, while also touring worldwide. His latest album, The Bywater Sessions, was released earlier this year.
