No one can resist the music of Arp Frique. Rotterdam native Niels Nieuborg is the man behind that name, and with his band he has been bringing a seductive mix of styles to stages at home and abroad since 2017. Even if you’ve never heard of them, within minutes you’ll be dancing as if you’ve known the music for years. That’s the magic of the band’s music: the best of funk, Afro, disco and jazz are clearly present and are blended together to create a unique cocktail. With their energetic performances, they take dance festivals by storm but are equally at home at pop or jazz events. This year they’re appearing with The Perpetual Singers, and singers Brandon Delagraentiss and Rocq-E Harrell, who has collaborated in the past with Stevie Wonder and Patti LaBelle, completes the lineup.
