Martin Fondse has many talents. He has built a name for himself as a pianist, composer, conductor, and arranger. In December 2017 this led to him winning the prestigious Buma Boy Edgar Prize. The jury called Fondse’s work colorful and versatile; indeed, terms that aptly describe it. He is able to build bridges between various musical styles in a compelling way. As a pianist and nowadays also a vibrandoneonist he continues to innovate.
