The organizers of the North Sea Jazz Festival have awarded the Paul Acket Award “Special Appreciation” to the legendary Quincy Jones. He will receive the award on Sunday July 11 at the North Sea Jazz Festival. It is awarded by the festival organizers to a person who has won his spurs in the realm of jazz, in the broadest sense of the genre.
On Sunday July 11, the eccentric Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra from Japan will perform in the Congo.
