In addition to the previous announced names we proudly announce Terence Blanchard, Larry Graham & Graham Central Station with special guest Mark King Brecker Brothers Band Reunion, JJ Grey & Mofro, Ruben Hein, Karsu and Marcos Valle with special guest Lucas Santtana amongst others.

Every year, North Sea Jazz hands out the Paul Acket Award to an artist deserving wider recognition for their extraordinary musicianship. The winner of the Paul Acket Award 2013 is the Israeli musician Anat Cohen. An honorable mention is given this year to the New York pianist Kris Davis and the Dutch pianist Wolfert Brederode. Both were also highly appreciated for their musical talent by the international group of jazz critics and programmers.

One month before the publication of the full program and timetables of the Port of Rotterdam North Sea Jazz Festival 2013 Radio 6 has announced more new names this morning.
