Trumpeter Roy Hargrove appears to be a regular at North Sea Jazz. He is one of the greatest jazz trumpet players of his generation and he also has the courage to venture outside the framework of jazz. With his RH Factor he makes really cool R&B and soul. Just like Quincy Jones before him, Hargrove summoned up all sorts of musicians who use various points of reference to play his music in RH Factor.
