About Candy Dulfer Band with special guests

Candy Dulfer Band with special guests (NL)

Candy Dulfer is an international star holding a Dutch passport. She is the daughter of the famed tenor saxophone player Hans Dulfer; at an early age, she developed into a gifted soloist and band leader. She scored her first great hit with Lily Was Here that she recorded with Eurythmics front man Dave Stewart. She was also asked by pop stars like Prince and Van Morrison to join their world tours and perform on their records. As a band leader, she has recorded ten albums since 1990. Her latest double album, Funked Up & Chilled Out, was released last summer and it shows exactly why Dulfer receives so much international acclaim. Her playing is super funky and she always assembles a top-notch line-up. As is the case on this edition of the North Sea Jazz Festival, where she will perform with a number of well-known surprise guests.
