The exhibit Vrouwen van Rotterdam (‘Women of Rotterdam’) explores the role of women during the Reconstruction and shows how the position of women in society changed over this period. Photographs and stories, as well as clothing and objects of ‘regular’ and famous women, paint an image of a time in which everything changed. The exhibit will end with seven film portraits of contemporary inspiring women.

After London and Paris the Nederlands Fotomuseum (Dutch Photo Museum) is now bringing the successful exhibit Genesis to The Netherlands; the magnum opus of world famous photographer Sebastião Salgado. For this photo series Salgado took over thirty journeys and visited more than forty countries. The result is a series of 250 photographs of nature, animals and people.
