Kunsthal Rotterdam

This summer, as part of Slavery Memorial Year, the Kunsthal's exhibition [H]erkennen Herbouwen, Wonderkamers Van Het Rotterdams Koloniaal Verleden (‘Recognizing, Acknowledging, Rebuilding: Cabinets Of Curiosities From Rotterdam’s Colonial Past’) reflects on the city's colonial history and how it continues to have an impact today. Dutch artist patricia kaersenhout (b. 1966) is putting together a total installation from the collections of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and other Rotterdam museums. She has also invited five artists to contribute new works in which they reflect on themes such as racism, exclusion and inequity.

When you present your festival ticket, you will receive 50% off the price of one adult’s ticket throughout the month of July. Not valid in combination with other promotions or discounts.

Wereldmuseum

The exhibition Ha!r Power at Wereldmuseum in Rotterdam asks you questions about identity and hair. What does our hair say about us? How does it have the power to make us feel good? And what kind of connection do you have with hair? Would you wear a sweater made of human hair just as easily as one made of sheep's wool? The expo celebrates the power of hair and its many symbolic meanings.

Use the discount code NSJxWM23 to book your 2nd ticket for free on wereldmuseum.nl and present your NN North Sea Jazz ticket when you visit the museum. Valid until the end of August 2023.
