We are pleased to announce 32 new names for the upcoming edition, including Usher & The Roots, Solange, Emeli Sandé, Gladys Knight, Erykah Badu, and De La Soul.

The Wayne Shorter Quartet will play with the Casco Philharmonic conducted by Clark Rundell, featuring Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci and Brian Blade. Also confirmed are Kamasi Washington and The Next Step, Robert Glasper Experiment, Dianne Reeves and Christian McBride’s New Jawn. The McCoy Tyner Trio with special guests Craig Taborn & Geri Allen will perform Echoes With A Friend.  

Makaya McCraven, Yussef Kamaal, The Cinematic Orchestra, Tomasz Stanko / Enrico Rava Quintet and Atmosphères: Hamasyan-Henriksen-Aarset-Bang will perform in Rotterdam as well. Furthermore Sampha, Noname, Mick Jenkins, Bokanté, Maceo Parker, Eric Vloeimans & Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy and Dhafer Youssef - Diwan of Beauty and Odd will take the stage.

Cory Henry will perform twice this year. On Friday, he returns to the festival with The Funk Apostles, while on Sunday he will perform with the Metropole Orkest and Jacob Collier. Also performing on two separate days is John Beasley presents MONK’estra.

And finally, Taj Mo: The Taj Mahal & Keb Mo Band, Steve Lehman Sélébéyone, Wolfgang Muthspiel Quintet, Jeangru Macrooy and Typhoon & Jef Neve have also been confirmed.
