On Saturday, Darling is the stage for the New Urban Jazz program, presenting the music of the youngest generation of jazz musicians, brought up with metropolitan music like soul, R&B and hip hop.
They are all true jazz musicians who have assimilated all these influences from their youth in a new jazz style. Chris Dave & The Drumhedz, Next Collective, José James en Robert Glasper Experimentwith special guest Lionel Loueke are some fine examples.
