When does the regular ticket sale start?

At the moment you can only order 3-day tickets and All-in tickets. On Saturday 9 May 2009 the regular ticket sale starts and you can purchase regular day tickets, 3 day tickets, All-in tickets and supplementary tickets.

What is the difference between a 3-day ticket and an All-in ticekt?

A 3-day ticket gives you admittance to all the regular concerts and an All-in ticket gives you admittance to the regular concerts and all the plus concerts. Without an All-in ticket you have to buy supplementary tickets to go to a plusconcert. Plus concerts are are very special, exclusive and unique concerts where we expect far more visitors than the hall can handle. By selling supplementary tickets we are able to guarantee true music lovers a seat.

Can I go to a plus concert without having to buy a day ticket or a 3-day ticket?

To get access to a plus concert you first have to purchase a day ticket or a 3-day ticket. You cannot purchase a single supplementary tickets ticket. You could, however buy an All-in ticket which gives you access to the regular concerts and all the supplementary tickets.

Why do I have to pay extra for a supplementary ticket?

Supplementary tickets in the Amazon are seated concerts and we expect far more visitors than the Amazon can handle. By selling supplementary tickets we are able to guarantee true music lovers a seat. Also supplementary tickets are very exclusive, special and unique concerts that we couldn’t have programmed without the extra fee.

Why do I have to pay service costs when I buy a ticket?

North Sea Jazz has boarded out her ticket sales to Ticket Service Nederland and the Nationale Theaterkassa. We did this to get national coverage so everyone can easily buy tickets via internet, phone, VVV offices, Post offices, Free Record Shops and other well known selling points. The service organization who sells these tickets calculates the service costs per ticket.

There are a few differences in service costst. To make it clear all the service costs are line up right here (prices 2008)
Day tickets and 3-day tickets:
- Ticket Service Nederland (the well known selling points): € 4,60 per ticket (incl. tax)
- Nationale Theaterkassa: € 11.50 for one or more tickets (incl. tax)

Supplementary tickets:
- Internet: € 2,50 per ticket (incl. tax)
- Balie: € 2,50 per ticket (incl. tax)
- Callcenter: € 2,75 per ticket (incl. tax)

Day tickets and 3-day tickets:
- Box office Ahoy: € 4,15 per ticket (incl. tax)

Is there a group discount?

There is a groups discount till 21 June 2008, if the order is at least 150 day tickets. For any questions you can send an email to ticketing@mojo.nl.

What time does the festival box office open?

The festival box office opens at 10 p.m. and if tickets are available, you can buy day tickets, 3-day tickets, All-in tickets and supplementary tickets. Day tickets at the festival cost more than in advance booking: € 75, - in advance booking and € 80, - at the festival box office.

If I buy a ticket, is it possible to get my money back?

The North Sea Jazz Festival doesn’t return money, however there is a special ‘Ticket trade’ service from livenation.nl. Click HERE to use the 'Ticket trade' service.

Do I get access to the Midsummer Jazz Gala on 9 july 2009 with my regular ticket?

The Midsummer Jazz Gala is a special evening that takes place one night before the start of the festival in the Amazon – Ahoy Rotterdam. For the Midsummer Jazz Gala you have to buy a seperate ticket.
