The North Sea Jazz Festival will take place on Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2009.

Doors open at 4.30 pm on Friday and Saturday and at 2.30 pm on Sunday. The Harlem is an outdoor stage next to the entrance where shows start at 4.00 pm on Friday and Saturday and at 2.00 pm on Sunday. Make sure to check out the time tables on www.northseajazz.com for the complete program.

The entire festival is allowable for disabled and les abled persons and every hall is accessible with by wheelchair. With the wide halls, escalators and elevators the festival is accessible for everyone.

Ahoy Rotterdam is well situated to different exit roads, but because of a concert in the nearby Feyenoord Stadium there will be more pressure on traffic towards and from the festival venue. Because of this concert there will be less available parking spots. Therefore we strongly advise you to use public transportation. If you come by car, please follow the “P-Ahoy” signs. You can reach Ahoy perfectly by subway (metro Erasmuslijn, stop at Zuidplein) and by more than 30 bus lines. Especially for the North Sea Jazz Festival, the subway has an extended night schedule until 3.30 AM on Friday and Saturday night. You can also use the regular night busses (BOB-bus) to several destinations in and around Rotterdam. Click HERE for more information.

You can bring a small camera. Only when you are accredited as a press photographer it’s allowed to bring professional photo / film cameras to the festival. 

The North Sea Jazz Festival has a fixed team of employees working at the festival, plus extra employees who apply via email. As the 2008 team is already complete, it is no longer possible to apply for a job at the festival. If you want to work at the festival next year, you can send an e-mail to info@northseajazz.com from January 2009.
