First names announced
The first names for the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival are presented. No other than the famous guitar legend Carlos Santana will be headliner on Friday! In the 60s and 70s he gained his fame with his band Santana. This Curacao North Sea Jazz he will perform his great guitar skills on stage.
Ruben Blades will also be one of the names present this year. Last year, his popularity was so great that there was too little room for all the fans. This year he will be present on Friday and ready to turn the place upside down.
The third name available is the amazing Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band.  Paquito D’Rivera, leading the band, is known as the most creative Cuban Jazz musician and is also one of the worlds best clarinet players.
The first name known for playing on Saturday is the promising new acoustic jazz quartet James Farm. The band exists of four great members, the saxophonist Joshua Redman, pianist Aaron Parks, bass player Matt Penman en drummer Eric Harland.

Equally to previous years, the festival starts earlier than mentioned. On the 26th and 27th there will be 2 concerts for free at the Brionsquare. The names will be released soon. Just like the years before the location of the festival will be the ‘World Trade centre, Piscadera Bay’.

Ticket sales
The ticket sales will start Monday 2nd of April. The tickets will be available at several sale points such as Mensing Caminada, Mobile Planet, Tik-Tak en 24 Uur Uit De Muur. Starting at 1st of February it is already possible to order tickets online. Tickets and accommodations can also be reserved and paid for online.
