For nine years already North Sea Jazz has been organizing clinics at the festival and since two years Question and Answers as well. In the Q&A's one artist interviews the other, which often leads to beautiful stories and anecdotes.
Moreover we would like to use the occasion to pay attention to the DownBeat Blindfold Test, which over the years has been hosted by Dan Ouellette, columnist and critic at a.o. DownBeat magazine. Artists will be subject to Dan Ouellettes blindfolded test, where they will be guessing what musician they are listening to.
