North Sea Jazz Festival for Kids
Especially for our young audience, the North Sea Jazz Festival, in cooperation with theater Lantaren/Venster, brings a unique event especially for the junior jazz fan: the North Sea Jazz Festival for Kids!
This music spectacle offers children a great theatre show, exciting musical performances and educational workshops. All young jazz enthusiasts are invited to come to this groovy and educational afternoon on Wednesday 9 July! Theater Lantaren/Venster in Rotterdam will be turned into a jazz dive, but one that is kid-proof. The festival is for children from age six and up, but their parents are welcome to join us, of course, and they will have a good time, too.

'VENT' by Erik van Schaaik
During his study graphic design at the academy of arts Erik started working for Dutch television, creating a series of animation films, live action drama and documentaries. Erik is well experienced in every aspect of filmmaking, from camera operating to high tech computer animation. Music by Martin Fondse (cello), Ernst Reijseger (trumpet), Eric Vloeimans (piano).

Frank Verkade, Michael Maasdam and Christopher López Rodriguez graduated at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam with their animation movie ‘Breakfast on the run’. Frank, Michael and Christopher are all specialised in technical computer animation.
