North Sea Jazz on TV, radio and Internet

Like every year, media partner NPS will broadcast live from the festival on radio, television, Internet and the digital cultural channel Cultura24.
NPS Radio
Radio 6 will kick off on Thursday July 8 with a live broadcast at 10 p.m. of the North Sea Jazz gala, during which Waylon and Al Green will open the festival.
As of Friday July 9, Radio 6 will be on air from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. each festival day with daily reports, interviews, updates and live music. Sylvana Simons, Mijke van Wijk, Jaap Brienen and Winfried Baijens will be present in their glass studio, located on the festival grounds, and will broadcast live music, performed by Sonny Rollins, Stevie Wonder, Jools Holland, Ornette Coleman, Caro Emerald, New Cool Collective and Trijntje Oosterhuis and many others.

NPS on TV
On TV, NPS will report from the festival at around 11 p.m. each night. Andrew Makinga, Sylvana Simons and Winfried Baijens will present major artists from the genres of soul, world, jazz and funk.

Sunday July 11, 11.07 p.m. to 0.22 a.m. on Ned. 3
During the broadcast on the final festival day, it will be mostly soul that will be presented. Includes: Waylon, Lee Fields, Swamp Dogg, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Macy Gray, Joss Stone, Ben Harper and Stevie Wonder (program subject to change). Presentation: Andrew Makkinga, Sylvana Simons and Winfried Baijens.
NPS digital
As well as the radio and TV broadcasts, NPS New Media and Radio6.nl will stream a North Sea Jazz Festival Special on radio6.nl. This will include “concerts on demand”, available in both audio and video, plus reviews, interviews, unique photographs and reports.
All programs on Cultura24, the digital cultural channel (also available on: www.cultura24.nl) will be dedicated to the North Sea Jazz Festival as of Friday July 2. On Saturday July 10 and Sunday 11, the channel will broadcast live from the festival between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Presentation: Isolde Hallensleben.
