About Jonathan Kreisberg Quartet
Jonathan Kreisberg Quartet (US)
Jonathan Kreisberg is one of the most exciting new guitarists on
the international jazz scene. Besides his technical perfection in
playing, the 31-year-old American has a more than average talent
for writing beautiful compositions. Although the jazz guitarist
belongs to the junior league, he has already run up an impressive
list of achievements. He has released six albums and worked with
musicians like Joe Henderson, Michael Brecker and Dr. Lonnie Smith.
With his Jonathan Kreisberg Quartet, the New York resident now
travels across the globe to present his one-of-a-kind style on
stage. If you want a taste of Kreisberg's qualities, you should
listen to his album The South of Everywhere (2007), on which he
compellingly forges together his own dynamic compositions and
reworks standards effortlessly.
